In analyzing the street networks in Space Syntax, the question arises; to what extent the movement and activity may explain street integration among gender-based pedestrians. The result found that there is a correlation between spatial configurative analyses and women present in the streets -the more integrated and localized streets attract more women pedestrians compared to the men. The research is relevant to spatial design interventions and policymaking to improve the gender-equal access to public space.
2020-04-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2020 Nurul Shakila Khalid, Yusfida Ayu Abdullah, Na'asah Nasrudinhttps://ajqol.e-iph.co.uk/index.php/ajqol/article/view/204Monte Carlo Simulation for Cost Forecasting in the Green Building Project2023-05-21T02:10:47+00:00Faridah Muhamad Halilfaridahmh@uitm.edu.myHafiszah Ismailhafiszah@uitm.edu.myMohamad Sufian Hasimmoham315@uitm.edu.myHalim Hashimfaridahmh@uitm.edu.my
Monte Carlo Simulation is a mathematical technique that generates random variables for modelling risk. This technique is suitable and benefits to the various client such as public and private sector to evaluate the costing prepared by the Quantity Surveyor. The methodology used is a qualitative approach consisting of a case study and document analysis. The result shows through Monte Carlo simulation, can predict the worst return from the accuracy of the estimation and given absolute confidence for project development.
2020-04-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2020 Faridah Muhamad Halil, Hafiszah Ismail, Mohamad Sufian Hasim, Halim Hashimhttps://ajqol.e-iph.co.uk/index.php/ajqol/article/view/205The Non-formal Education Initiative of Living Heritage Conservation for the Community towards Sustainable Development2023-05-21T02:10:44+00:00Noor Azramalina Abdul Aziznoorazramalina@gmail.comNoor Fazamimah Mohd Ariffinfazamimah@upm.edu.myNor Atiah Ismailnatiah@upm.edu.myAnuar Aliasanuar_a@um.edu.my
Threatened by cultural modernization, many emotions and manifestations of living heritage or intangible cultural heritage (ICH) are under crisis. Through a systematic literature review and using thematic analysis, the study reveals four related domains identified as food security, food production, food flow, and resilience strategy. Community resiliency was presented through the contribution of urban agriculture as part of community preparedness, response, and recovery in short and long-term impacts. The study concludes that green space provision in a residential area acts as a viable support system underlining the economic, social, and environmental interaction.
2020-04-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2020 Anizah Mohd Salleh, Nor Zalina Harun, Sharina Abdul Halimhttps://ajqol.e-iph.co.uk/index.php/ajqol/article/view/207Jan / Apr2021-12-04T19:56:59+00:00Mohamed Yusoff Abbascebsuitm@gmail.com2020-04-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2020 Mohamed Yusoff Abbas
